In this post:

Greg, a Sales and Service Quality Analyst working in the financial services industry, always assumed that he’d take a traditional education path — graduate high school, then immediately go to college. But after becoming a single parent, he needed to put college on the back burner and delved into 12-hour workdays.

Fast-forward to a few years later. Greg joined Desert Financial Credit Union (DFCU) and learned first-hand how “Companies can be so much more” by taking a people-first approach and offering life-changing education paths to their employees.

In this video, Greg shares how DFCU’s workforce education program, called InvestEd, enables him to continue on his education journey, tuition-free.

InStride empowers students like Greg by partnering with businesses to provide credentials and degrees to their employees through the top-tier universities and education. For Greg, this paves the way for him to achieve his goals such as getting into management and providing opportunities for his family as well.

“Switching to Desert Financial was eye-opening. The best benefit is the InvestED program that allows me to go back to school. This program is a huge deal. You need to keep learning. You need to keep moving forward.”
