Creating opportunities

The Starbucks College Achievement Plan launched in 2014 because Starbucks believes in creating meaningful opportunities for partners (employees), and believes everyone deserves the opportunity to earn a college degree. The SCAP program, available to eligible U.S. partners, provides 100% upfront tuition coverage along with Pathway to Admission options for partners who don’t initially meet academic requirements. To date, more than 16,000 individuals have graduated from the program, with most participants coming from hourly retail roles.

Getting more from the road ahead

The Uber Pro rewards program was launched in 2018 to provide drivers and couriers using Uber and Uber Eats with the opportunity to achieve their long-term goals. Serving over 7,500 drivers, couriers, and their family members, Uber provides 100% tuition coverage to qualifying drivers and couriers and their families to earn an undergraduate degree or take continuing education courses in English or Entrepreneurship.
