Brian MacDougall has over a decade of experience building & leading high-performing teams, driving organizational performance and delivering on business & financial goals. His experience spans high-growth technology, media & entertainment organizations.
Brian is the Chief Human Resources Officer for InStride, a global learning services enterprise designed to achieve significant social impact through partnerships with universities and employers, providing employees the opportunity to earn the highest-quality degrees. In this role, Brian leads the company’s human capital efforts, including talent acquisition and human resources. Brian also currently serves as course manager for a graduate business innovation course at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.
Brian joined InStride after four years of leadership at The Walt Disney Company in Los Angeles. As Senior Manager & Chief of Staff, Digital Guest Experience & eCommerce, Brian led a team that supported the operations and growth of a 1,000+ employee, $10 billion eCommerce business, and Disney’s digital operations across its parks, resorts, cruise line and merchandise segments.
Prior to Disney, Brian was with Univision Communications Inc. for five years in New York City, where he held four roles of increasing responsibility, completing his tenure as General Manager of the Local Digital division, with accountability for a $25 million digital media P&L. Earlier in his career, Brian was a valuation analyst at Huron Consulting Group in Chicago.
Brian graduated from Villanova University with a degree in finance, and holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
