Jeff Stark is Chief Financial Officer at InStride, where he oversees InStride’s accounting, financial operations and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
Prior to his current role, Jeff served as Group Vice President of Strategy and Performance at Wiley, where he oversaw the development and management of the company’s research, analytics and PMO practices as well as Wiley’s K-12 teacher professional development business. Before that, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at The Learning House, Inc.
With more than 20 years of experience in strategic and operational planning, reporting, forecasting and accounting, Jeff believes that “it isn’t just about what you do, but how well you do it, and how you interact with others in the company.” Fostering teamwork and “a sense that we are all headed in the same direction” is paramount to success.
Jeff has deep global experience in multiple industries and in the past focused on media, education and software. His experiences have led him to work for companies that range from start-ups to multinational corporations, big four accounting firms and the military.
Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Purdue University and an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
