Meg Whitman started her professional career at Procter & Gamble and then had prominent roles at Bain & Co., The Walt Disney Company, and Hasbro, Inc. In 1998, Whitman became the president and CEO of eBay. During her tenure, eBay grew to more than $8 billion in sales and 15,000 employees. Whitman later joined Hewlett-Packard (HP) in 2011 as president and CEO, guiding the company’s turnaround and serving as CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and chair of HP, Inc. through 2017. She recently served as CEO of Quibi and currently sits on the boards of Immortals and Procter & Gamble. Whitman is a passionate advocate for education and serves as the national Board Chair for Teach for America, an organization that recruits diverse leaders to teach for two years in low-income communities.
